Femto Asia Summit
10 March 2008
Our first meeting in Asia is a FREE event open to both members and non-members. It takes place as a pre-conference workshop on Monday 10 March 2008 in advance of Informa's Femtocell Solutions Asia
event in Hong Kong. The summit will introduce the Forum and how
it meets the challenges facing the femtocell industry. Key members will
describe their outlook on the market for femtocells in Asia, the major
challenges and how through co-operative means these are being met.

- What are the basic challenges facing femtocells?
- How are operators and vendors working together in the forum to solve them?
- An insight into the working groups, what they do and what they've achieved.
2. The operator's perspective on the distinctive requirements and status of femtocell deployment in Asia
- An overview of the Asian femtocell market
- How do operators' needs differ in the Asian market?
- What challenges need to be solved to meet these needs?
- How operators and vendors are collaborating to solve these issues in the forum
3. The vendor's perspective on the challenges in meeting the requirements of the Asian market
- An overview of the Asian market and how it differs from Europe and North America
- How to meet the challenges facing femtocell deployment in Asia
- How the forum helps solve the challenges facing large scale deployment

Femto Forum 4th Plenary: Munich - 18-20 March
Our next
Plenary takes place 18 to 20 March 2008 in Munich. Registration is now
open for Femto Forum members – could you please urge colleagues
and partners to REGISTER as soon as possible, so we can match resources to delegate numbers.
A full agenda will be mailed in the next week or so. In the meantime, the current draft is as follows:
